I decided to go early morning, mainly because I wanted to avoid the lunch time rush. The cafe also appeared to be very busy on social media and has already developed quite a following. Joe and Anna source their produce locally, they bake all their own cakes, and they serve freshly ground coffee and fine teas. The menu is fresh and exciting, with a great choice of breakfast options, sandwiches, bakes and cakes. Not forgetting the delicious selection of home made soups that the Red Brick Cafe has to offer, today was roast butternut squash and red pepper.
I was very impressed with Red Brick Cafe, but I wasn't the only one, I heard nothing but positive comments and well wishes from the locals. My only negative point is the choice of coffee blend, a little bold for my taste. However, I am very fussy and it would be unfair to criticise a new cafe and their choice of bean. It's nice to see another independent open in the area, and I am sure Red Brick Cafe is going to be a massive success. I wish them all the best.
